K+ Glass

Multi-talented glass artist Rebecca Potash (and PhD, I might add) needed some photos of her work to reflect the high-level craftmanship, as well as drive attention on social channels for limited edition drops with partners like SlackTide Coffee. I took these for both one-off and evergreen usage on her site and social channels. Images shot for the first SlackTide drop helped the collection sell out within 24 hours (something virtually unprecedented in the glass world). Also, I discovered that glass is really hard to shoot.

Cream

While designing the website for Cream, I staged a shoot in the parking lot of the property to get original shots of the decadent delights offered there (and there only). This shoot was done in April on a sunny day, so it was cool enough to not be a totally crazy, hair-brained operation, though the sun was bright and shining down which prompted quick work and decisive action. Ultimately, I got some fun shots and played with some animation to bring the site and social channels to life.

Redeye Roasters

While redesigning the website for Redeye Roasters, I staged a hybrid-style shoot in the roastery & café—some candid shots of baristas making coffee, and some staged shots of the coffee and premises to highlight the quality and craftsmanship of the product and the ambiance of the cult favorite spot.
